Energion.com Description: I found this book to be excellent. It comes the closest of any that I have read to actually providing proof of the existence of God, but I believe it still falls well short. The last part, dealing with the scriptures is much less effective than the earlier part dealing with the existence of God.

Consider Christianity, Volume 2: Evidence for the Christian Faith

This is a good basic guide for those who would like to understand the essentials of Christianity.

Energion.com Description: [I am publisher of this book.]

Elgin Hushbeck, Jr. has done an exceptional job of making the essentials of the Christian worldview clear for the average reader. This is not a list of arguments that you can pull out and use to shoot your opponent. Rather, it provides you with the understanding of the doctrines it addresses so that you can defend them for yourself and discuss them intellignently with other Christians as well as with non-Christians. If you care at all about providing a defense for your faith, you owe it to yourself to read this book.
