To the Hebrews: A Participatory Study Guide
I'm the author of this book -- HN.
My intention in writing this book was to provide an outline for study that would work for individuals or small groups and would allow each person to decide how much time to put into the study. This is not a five minute a day book, but it is also not a college text. It is not a commentary; it is a guide to help you find your own understanding of the book of Hebrews. It is built around the participatory method of Bible study. There is space in the book for your own notes.
Directed Paths
This book is by my mother, Myrtle Blabey Neufeld -- HN.
This book resulted from my desire to have some good, modern prayer experience stories to use in my classes. I knew that my mother had experienced regular answers to prayer in her life as a missionary, and I even used ones that I knew. First she recorded these experiences on tape for me to use and then transcribed them herself. This is an encouraging book. Yes, the author is my mother, so I'm not unbiased, but if you want some encouragement in your walk with the Lord when times are tough, read this book!
Revelation: A Participatory Study Guide
Note: This is a book I wrote.
I wrote this book primarily to help people study Revelation for themselves, but it also has the goal of getting people to shake off some common attitudes about Revelation and dig deeper for personal, relevant, immediately applicable meaning. I make a number of suggestions that may lead to a much different than average understanding of the book.
This book is designed for group or serious individual study. It gives three plans--a three week, eight week, and 13 week study. The exercises also provide many options for how deeply you may want to study into each lesson.
