Energion.com Description: I regard this as a good study Bible for those interested in living the life led by the Holy Spirit, but I think it is unfortunate that it was paired with the New King James Version, which is often difficult for the same group of people to read and enjoy. It is also much more of a devotional Bible than one designed for serious, objective study. One should be careful in choosing a Bible with study notes if one is going to carry it around and use it on a constant basis (see Choosing a Bible with Study Notes). As a devotional guide this is good with the proviso that one is comfortable with the New King James Version text.
